Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton lead the cast of stars of the new chapter of the film series directed by Matthew Vaughn
20th Century Fox has just dropped a new trailer for The King’s Man, the action prequel to the Kingsman film series directed by Matthew Vaughn. The third chapter is set to be released on September 17, 2020, in Italy and on September 18 in the US.
Loosely based on the comic book series Kingsman, created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, the new film reveals the birth of the first, independent, secret service agency. We’ll have to wait for more details as the press release doesn’t tell much about the plot: “As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal mastermind gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man and his protégé must race against time to stop them.”
British director Matthew Vaughn also co-produced The King’s Man with David Reid and Adam Bohling. Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton lead a cast of stars, which also includes Rhys Ifans, Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Stanley Tucci.
