6 products to refresh and energize your body and hair

Harmonizing your beauty regime with the seasons is always a good idea and, when it comes to summer beauty, ‘lightness’ is the code word.

Feeling great from June to September means eating cleaner, staying active and also treating yourself with weightless beauty products to help you feeling fresh and energized.

To get rid of dead skin cells, with no risks for your tan, choose a gentle scrub and, for your bath ritual, switch your winter-spicy bath foam with a fruity shower gel. Avoid deep nourishing body creams and choose a fast-absorbing body lotion to apply daily.

Hot weather will probably make your hair roots oily and your hair tips dry, so the best choice is a purifying but non-aggressive shampoo. Also, don’t forget that your face needs special care during this season: if you have combination-oily skin use a mattifying mask to minimize shine twice a week. If your skin is extra-dry you can alternate it with a light hydrating mask.

Finally, if you can’t give up fragrances, opt for a less alcoholic formula or choose a a body mist with zesty and refreshing notes.

Here are six products to treat yourself during the summer season, the lighter way. Wallet alert: they’re all budget friendly except for one (but it’s worth the splurge).
